The focus of the GIZ project Sustainable Municipal Services (SMS) is to support selected Kosovo municipalities implement their legally assigned mandate of providing local waste management.

For this particular project Flag aimed to undertake a situation analysis, develop a strategic framework, operational, financial and action plans and a final integrated SWM plan for the municipalities of Drenas, Gjilan, Peja, Mitrovica and Prishtina.
